Meet the Teacher

Lynn Brown

Lynn Marie Brown, CERI Founder, Willamette Valley Dyslexia Center | Creator of the Decoded Curriculum Lynn Marie Brown is a certified dyslexia specialist and educator with over a decade of experience in special education. She founded the Willamette Valley Dyslexia Center to bring structured literacy, Orton-Gillingham–based tutoring, and family support to students across Oregon. As the creator of Decoded, a comprehensive literacy curriculum, Lynn blends research-based instruction with practical tools that help students move from decoding to confident reading and writing. She is passionate about equipping educators, empowering families, and ensuring every student has access to the tools they need to thrive. When she’s not teaching or writing, Lynn enjoys homesteading on her small farm, where she raises goats and creates all-natural goat milk soaps.
